LITTLE RED RlDING HOOD

VOICE.- Once upon a time there was a little girl. Her name was "Little red riding hood" because she had a red cape and a red hood. One day, her mother said:

MUMMY .-Little red riding hood, what are you doing?

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD.- I'm playing, mummy.

MUMMY.- Your grandmother is ill. She is in bed. Go and visit her. Take her some cakes and some biscuits.

(She puts some cakes and biscuits into a basket)

 L. R.R.H. .-Good bye, mummy.

MUMMY .-Good-bye, darling. Be careful. Come back early.

(The girl starts walking in the forest to her grandmother 's house. On the way, she sees some jlowers and stops to pick up some for her grandmother.)

LRRH.- Oh! This flowers are very beautiful. I'm going to pick up some for Granny.

(Suddenly, a wolf appears)

WOLF .-Hello, little girl, What' s your name?

 LRRH.- I'm Little Red Riding Hood.

WOLF.- What are you doing?

LRRH.- I'm picking up some flowers.(She looks very .frightened)

 WOLF .-Where are you going, little girl?

LRRH.- I'm going to see my grandmother. She is ill.  

WOLF.- Oh! Very well. Where does she live?

LRRH.- In a small house in the middle of the forest.

WOL.F- You're a very nice girl. Have a good time! Good-bye! (The wolf comes to Granny 's house. He knoks on the door)

GRANNY .-Who is it?

WOLF.- It's me, Little Red Riding Hood, Granny.

GRANNY .-The door is open. Come in.

 WOLF.- Where are you , Granny?

GRANNY .-I'm here, in the bedroom. But you're not Little red riding hood. HELP! HELP ! (She hides in a cupboard) -

(Little Red Riding Hood comes to Granny 's house. She knocks at the door ) WOLF .-Who is it?

LRRH.- I'm Little Red Riding Hood, Granny. I brought you some cakes and some biscuits.

WOLF.- Oh! Come in. Come in.

(The wolf is in bed wearing Granny 's clothes. Very surprised, Little Red Riding Hood says:

LRRH.- Oh, Granny. What big ears you have!

WOLF .-All the better to hear you with, my dear .

LRRH.-And, Granny, what big eyes you have!

WOLF .-All the better to see you with, my dear

LRRH.- Oh, Granny. What a big nose you have !

WOLF .-All the better to smell you with, my dear.

LRRH.- And Granny What a big mouth you have!

WOLF .-All the better TO EA T YOU UP (He jumps out of the bed)

 LRRH.- HELP! HELP!

(The girl runs out of the house. A man is pasing and when he sees the big bad wolj He chases him away)

MAN.- Oh! What's that? A big bad wolfwants to eat a beautiful girl. Eh! Wolfl (He runs behind the wolj) (The man comes back )

MAN.- Don't worry, little girl. The wolf is far away.

LRRH.-My grandrnother. I can't find her. GRANNY! GRANNY!

 GRANNY.- I.'m here, inside the cupboard. Is the wolf there?

(They go into the house and look for the old lady. They find her in the

cupboard. They open the door and let her out)

LRRH.- No, Granny. This brave man drove him away.

 GRANNY .-Thank you, sir .

MAN .-Not at all. Are you well, madam?

GRANNY.- Yes, I am. Come on! Let's eat these cakes and biscuits.

VOICE.- They were happy ever after because the big bad wolf was away and will never frighten any girls or grandrnothers again
