Worldraw started when E-Friends was trying to get computers over to Bosnia right after the war ended, for kids to communicate with other kids around the world. The project was chosen to illustrate a chapter on International understanding in a Japanese middle school textbook. This year there are three schools in Kumamoto who have officially included the program into their curriculum.
The exchanges are based on pictures drawn by the participants using English at times or the language of the country they are exchanging with.
We contact with Worldraw through a message from Bruno Jactat, an enthusiastic French teacher in the International University of Kumamoto. He introduces to us in a new world. The project has a delay but we hope that it starts now. Our contribution to worldraw will be here soon, while, you can learn more about Japan.
