The  Spanish Armada

Introduction

In 1588 Spain tried to invade England, the war  (1588-1604)  is known as the  Spanish Armada
In teams of four you are going to solve a big question about this fact, but first you have to write more or less ten lines about each of the following themes:

  1. Reasons which caused the race
  2. Preparations
  3. The problems
  4. The battle
  5. The real combat
  6. True reasons for the disaster
  7. The other version of the History
  8. Famous people: Isabel I, Drake, FelipeII, Álvaro de Bazán...
  9. The War through paintings

Big Question:

 You have to create a  website about the Spanish Armada integrating
all the knowledge you acquired through the process

Conclusion

Did you enjoy the story about the Spanish Armada? 

Think about the importance of the different  points of view. Each student will reach his/her own conclusions on their own and through the collaborative work (small group).

Participation in this work ensures that all the students will gain knowledge of the facts about the Spanish Armada in 1588.  

The student must be able to apply the information and express their ideas through materials they produce and apply the knowledge acquired during the process.
