We have the following types of houses in Galice:

(The five images are pictures of the craftworks made by our students)

The Mountain House

It can be found in the Eastern mountains of Galice. It has a squared foundation, small size and few windows. The roof is made with slate or straw.

The Seaside House

It has two o three stories. It may have a porch, under which the boats and the fishing devices were kept. In its wooden balconies, at present converted into galleries, the fishing nets were laid in order to get dried.

The House from Lugo or from the Terra Chá
It has a rectangular foundation and has a roof made with slate. It has two parts: the ground floor, where the kitchen and the stables are, and the first floor, where the rooms are located. Normally, it hasn´t any detached buildings. The stonework of doors, windows and corners outstands.
The Southern House
