The
manor houses are made of stone where the nobility lived from the 17th Century. 
They
are in the surroundings of the villages and have the coats of arms of the
family on the
walls.Besides home,the manor houses consist of a chapel, a granary, the stables,
workshops and dwellings for the servants.
Generally
the manor houses have magnificent gardens and crop fields.
In
Cedeira there is one of the most interesting manor house ,Torrecedeira, from the
16th Century with a magnificent garden where centennial oaks grow.
