The
school of Cedeira is situated in the town of Redondela, in the parish with the
same name.This town is in the province of Pontevedra which is a province of
Galicia, it´s an autonomous region of Spain.
It was established in 1980 and it has
12 teachers.
The
school has :
Two
classrooms of Infant and six of Primary.
One
classroom for pupils with some difficulties.
Workshops.
A
music clasroom.
A
computer classroom.
An
English classroom.
A
study for the school radio station.
The
library.
The
Staff room.
The
teachers room.
A
football court.
A
basketball court.
A
cover playground.
An
area with garden.
In
September and June , the timetable is from 9 to 13.
From
October to May the schooltimetable is from 9 to 14.
In the
afternoons the pupils have activities out of the school organized by PTA.
The
school year starts about the middle of September and finishes at the end of
June.
Christmas
holidays: 2 weeks approximately(from 23rd December to 7th
January)
Easter:
1 week at the end of March or beginning of April.
Carnival:2
days in February or March.
We
have also two days off because of the feasts of the town, as well as the holiday
of our autonomous region.
