Welcome to the English Corner

Our Project for Early Introduction to the Foreign Language is based mainly on three aspects we consider of a mayor importance:

-The children´s level of psychological development

- The children´s range of interests

- The children´s previous knowledge

In pre-primary level children are not expected to be able to produce accurately, neither talking nor writing, but they have to acquire the abilities to do so later on.

Thus, our lesson planning is focused on the development of a positive attitude towards the English Language and the English socio-cultural contents.

Errors are considered as part of the learning process. Our focus is on real communication in the foreign language providing real contexts and meaningful purposes, as far as we can do so in the classroom.

Games, cartoons, songs, nursery rhymes, tales and stories, dancing and role-playing, puppets, flash cards and realia are our way to gradually introduce the childrens to the English Language.
